Chapter 1: Basic equations of solution theory

We want to predict the boiling point and gas-phase composition of an arbitrary mixture of solvents when their composition changes.
The basic equations for this are summarised in this section.
In practice, you would use Chapter 2, which would be the page to read when you want to go back to the principles.

Chapter 2: ASOG Method.

Use old parameters to calculate the data in the books. You can do a lot with parameters.
The actual ASOG calculation is done here.

Chapter 3: Problems with the ASOG method.

There is no shortage of ideas, but before extending the ASOG method, the issues should be sorted out.

The ASOG programme can be used with any combination of solvents used in this study. Select two solvents with the selector and set them.
For some combinations, the actual measured values are not in the DB.
